He should first have told the guy to fire the unions and then he could have fired the guy "for firing the Unions" as a decoy. Letting the GM do the necessary work first and then getting rid of him as well. They all have to go anyway. And as for CEO replacement, a lot of qualified guys waiting on the side lines. Now...if Obama is supposed to make the pick for replacement, those good guys on the side lines are most likely losing this great opportunity for them - and for all of us - in lieu of some half corrupt incompetent preferred from the Big O corrupt partisans.
