I quoted the parts I agree with. The rest was just a bit too strong for me. I don't actually think Obama is a communist, or think he (for the most part) personally wants to decide who lives and who dies through controlling medical care. He may move us a step or three in that direction, and to the extent that the short term problems from these steps aren't bad enough to make his changes unpopular (or can be passed off on Bush whether or not they have any real connection to him), he'll build momentum for future steps; but that doesn't actually make him a communist.
