stp.v - of the lot i like stp best, from current prices [speaking of boring and staid, lol, it's being stalled by a big TD seller] ... had very little npe.v, plan was to edge in 'soon', aargh ... they're all takeover candidates ultimately, it may be rumour of a deal or attempt that perked it up, don't know ... tonight's news was known stuff, no surprises there, of course with some of these it's just that big sellers finish up and buyers who've been waiting start jumping all at the same time

su.to - twice this week, monday and tuesday both, i had an order filled out for Suncor, jammed out each time because to buy any considerable amount would mean using margin, rather not do that in spring when the weather gets nice, can't just walk away from the computer so easily ... but i think it's a decent buy in the 20s here, go to 40 or better in a few months ... told a young guy tonight, thinking about first stocks ever, just tuck a very few of these away and check them in five years

Picked up the mail, got three (3) credit card offers ... one for 1.99% until March 2010, might take it ... but they always choke when i decline to give out personal info, like correct name and address, hah what do they think, i need my name on any more lists
