calling african americans colored is an insult to them. Somewhere between the N word and person of color. When its clear a group does not like the name, persons of the other color shouldnt refer to them that way.

Earlier he called someone colored. Probably doesnt know that was not a popular name in black community here although person of color seems to have caught on lately. IIRC, he said the girl was only 25% black. How dares he use a word from the English language using its literal or figurative meaning before checking the latest political and fashion trends. You see, it is more about the name by which one refers to a race than it is about the respect you give them.
