Who knows.

I do know that the simple statement that Goldman has exposed its capital by 1000% does not provide enough detail on which a judgment that holds water may be made. Who knows, they may have made the right bets, are properly hedged, we do not know to what level of leverage this leads, etc.

Nonetheless, the 1000% figure is eye-opening.
