Peter, thanks for reply. the MGFS site has a great database that is available for free. However, unless I missed something, it does not have the information I am seeking. It has daily advances/declines for any day of the week. I am looking for it to be calculated in this manner: EX: on any Wednesday, how many stocks on the NYSE are up/down/unch so far for the week (cummulative trading of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). On Monday, suppose the A/D line is 1500 up and 1000 down. Since that is the first day of the week, those figures also represent the weekly figures so far. On Tuesday, suppose 1000 stocks are up and 1500 are down. Now, the stocks that are up and down are no doubt different from yesterdays. But for the 2 days (Monday and Tuesday), how many are up/down/unch? It is a special calculation that compares Tuesday's close with last Friday's close. (That is how I should have explained it in the first place!)
Thanks again.

Dan
