VAUGHN - read #551 above, some neat observations of interest. Hopefully we will learn substantially more about the geology as drilling info comes along to help out with the due diligence part of all this.

Hello All

A couple of thoughts:

1. I spoke to DRZ on Friday and was told David Patterson and Brook were in London. (Is that what you were trying to say Jim?) They are expected in the office on Monday. I suppose we can deduce from this that options or a private placement offered to parties in London / Europe keeps Teck from taking too much of a controling interest in DRZ. Presumably DRZ would like to see a competative situation develope vise a vie any eventual take-over/buyout attempt and having Teck in the driver's seat may limit this possibility.

2. It is my understanding that Teck is a drilling/exploration contractor on this play, and is working for DRZ/NAI (and presumably the other participant juniors). They have taken their payment in DRZ shares and options (exercised now) and cash from NAI. They made a bundle in a similar capacity on the DFR play, did they not? (As a result of being bought out.) The conspiracy theory would not seem to hold much water in this light.

3. The Northern Miner article stated that "two drills were now turning on the NAI/DRZ property" and "several other holes in the vicinity have not yet been assayed".

The Major General NR of Oct. 22nd stated that: "There has not been any drilling on the eastern extension of the "Northern Abitibi Nickel Zone" which was intersected in drill holes SVB 97-67 (discovery hole) and SVB 97-75."

These two statements would seem to be contradictory.

I know the NM is not known for the accuracy of their reporting, but you would think that this information came from a DRZ or Teck source.

Any insights or observations from the thread? Is someone misinformed, misquoted, in error or full of it?

Regards

P.S. Is anyone else having trouble pulling that MG gravity/claim map off the web?
