We had a big hailstorm yesterday morning, which all melted off after lunch.

I'm ready for spring. Some crocuses are too.

Hi Neeka...Are you sure it's really a cold...? Sounds like it might be more than that, as you were so sick last week. Hope you continue to feel better, and quickly!

I COULD NOT believe it was snowing this morning. He said it was, but I thought he was playing an April Fool trick .... Looks like God is playing one for us. It isn't sticking which is a REALLY good thing. Guess we have to look for all those little blessings where we find them.

Every time you say Brutus....I have to laugh. He is REALLY aptly named! No one messes with Brutus!

Wishing you well, quickly!

Well, this is yor intrepid correspondent reporting in from 7 Via Postumia in the historic city of Roma. I arrived in Milano 8:30 this morning, Italy time, and had a reservation to fly to Rome. I wish I hadn't done that. If I'd take the train, I'd have gotten here 2 hours early. As it was, the flight from Milano to Roma was delayed an hour, and I ended up pulling into Rome's Terminii Station at 5:10 local time and made my way to meet Kelsey.

We're about to head out for dinner shortly, then tomorrow is the Colleseo and Forum, Navona Square, Trastavere, the Trevi Fountain and who knows what else. I also need to go to to the Vatican to get our tickets to attend Palm Sunday Mass in St. Peter's Square.

Here are a couple pics. First is the French Alps, the second is Kelsey with the new car I bought her.

Neeka will note that the Cascades are every bit as impressive as the Alps.
