But isn't that the one BIG ADVANTAGE of being on the outside, looking in? You can throw all the brickbats that you want to without any requirement to ever get serious, make your own hard choices, or even propose realistic alternatives.... (You may have to wait until another election cycle rolls around before any of that even begins to change. Politicians don't often step out on a limb until they HAVE TO!)
