There is a big difference in using "cue cards" to make sure all the points are covered in major speeches, versus requiring a teleprompter at a news conference.

I'm sure Obama is great reading bedtime stories. But he looks downright silly, constantly bobbing his head from side to side reading the 'prompters.

I'm sure most people don't even realize that's what he's doing.
