If universal health care is socialism, I and the rest of America WANT it! Even corporate America wants it. The only people who don't want it are extreme right wingnut ideological losers and the corporate medical and pharmaceutical establishment.

Good luck stopping it.

"Reagan brought tides of conservatism"??????????

WHAT conservatism? All Reagan brought was "borrow and spend" economics. Reagan brought new spending and no revenues to pay for it. It took 200 years for the U.S. to get to a Trillion in debt, then Reagan made that 3 Trillion in 8 years.

You, Al, RW, and SilentZ ought to be cheering that.

Obama is a liberal and has a liberal agenda. That does not make him a socialist no more than calling Bush a fascist made him a nazi. But if it makes you feel better......if it takes away some of the sting from his overwhelming popularity here and in the world...then go for it.

>Just as much as Reagan brought tides of conservatism, Obama will usher in a new era of American socialism.

Nope. If we're still holding large portions of GM, Chrysler, and the financial companies in ten years, I won't be happy.
