Let me remind you that I have posted the NASA articles numerous times about cycle 25 being predicted as the lowest sun spot activity yet recorded. So I find it more than humourous that you are only now recognizing the issue:

This suggests that global cooling is in store for at least 20-40 more years and possibly even longer. It's hard to imagine the solar conveyor just shifting into overdrive any sooner than that.

My understanding is that none of the standard "meteorological" models incorporate any sunspot cycle effects or forecasts. If the quiet sun persists, the cooling effects resulting are thus not perceived to invalidate any climate change model-based forecasts.

I wait to be corrected.
