More irresponsible "journalism" from the Ministry of Truth (aka Faux News).

"U.S. gun stores and gun shows are the source of more than 90 percent of the weapons being used by Mexico's ruthless drug cartels, according to U.S. and Mexican law enforcement officials."
abcnews.go.com

It was officials under the Bush Administration that reported 90% of weapons come from the USA. J "Liar" Allen fibs again. What a Maroon!

AK 47's are sold in the USA, you dummy. Doesn't matter the point of manufacture. It's widely known that the USA/Mexico border is highly porous and guns are run in massive quantities every day.

He may be wrong but I don't see a clear case of intent to deceive. It looks like the 90% issue has a context, which should have been clarified.

There are at least three issues that I can see.

1) Mexico, and citizens of Mexico can buy guns from where ever want. They are a sovereign country and we can support them with law enforcement according to whatever legal agreements we have.

2) If illegal acquisitions are taking place, or if criminals are acquiring guns legally we should do what we can to reduce the threats.

3) Our gun laws are adequate where enforcement is adequate.
