As much as I dislike much of Obama's plans I think there is a big difference. Obama obviously inherited a disaster.

Presidents inherit the problems of their predecessors all the time, it's how the incoming president handles the problem that's important.

Conservatives are on him about his desperate plan to shore up our economy, even though conservatives were silent as the original rip offs took place.

Can you imagine the incitements by democrats if Bush and the Congress had done nothing? Doing nothing, other than enforcing the current regs, was the right thing to do IMO. It was the right thing to do when it was Bush's problem and it's still the right thing now that it's Obamas' problem. IMO this mess was directly caused by politicians meddling in the free market system and trying to bend it to their wants.

Clinton and the dems: What? People too poor to afford a home? No problem, we'll just give the CRA teeth and force the greedy bastards to lower their time proven requirements for loans....
If they hadn't done this 100,000 illegal aliens would still be at the tender mercies of a land lord.... what kind of people would we be if we let that happen?

Answer: A lot richer people.
