Dan3,

Re: " Intel as it stands today is a creation government intervention ... sabotaged
the launch of Opteron through a series of criminal acts ... hand over to AMD Intel's
$40+ Billion in criminally gained profits ... their many man-years of effort was
funded by criminal acts."

You've lost the plot, Dan3 ... You badly need your medication. <ggg>

Mahmoud

Dan,

Seriously, it looks like you lost your job by recommending all those AMD systems when the benchmarks prove that Intel is a better proposition in spite of all your work. Don't be bitter, you just need to learn how to separate your personal beliefs from reality...

"would it be a long term mistake, like buying garbage hauling services from the mob (and funding that organization's growth)"

So... you are saying that Intel secretly owns WMI?

Dan, Elmer, Intel as it stands today is a creation government intervention in the markets - torn from IBM by the FTC.

In those days the government didn't want companies to be "too big to fail" or create dangerous concentrations of power. Eisenhauer cautioned of the Military Industrial Complex. He may have not fully understood the future, how could he, but a very perceptive observation and applicable to the many Interwoven ____ Complexes of today.

The theme in recent years has been to create a larger pig with more nipples. A big sow can be pretty dangerous. Which is born out by current events.

Edit: I see the Insters have taken exception (4-5 responses) to what you said. Maybe it is the part about how Intel was created.
