I completely agree. I am an old computer (= financial) modeler, and would have been fired if I had presented to my Board forecasts which failed to take into consideration all obvious known critical influencing factors in a given case. AGM extremists leave me pretty un-convinced when they knowingly ignore the sun's variability in their long term climate change forecasts. By their book, this probably makes me an evil oil-company-funded Nazi-sympathising global warming denier.
