How would you word an amendment to do that?

Also if the justice department isn't elected or (as it is now) appointed by elected officials, but has its own independent power base, then how shall people for it be selected, and how (except in the case of specific provably serious crimes) shall it be held accountable?

I don't agree....the DOJ implements a lot of the Presidential Agenda and it makes sense to have the President's pick at DOJ.

There should never be a 'Republican' Justice Department or a 'Democrat' Justice department. I have argued for years that the constitution should be revised so that the Justice Department is separated from the Party in power. How can biased Justice be Justice?


There is no question in my mind that Clinton and Obama have taken politicizing the Justice Department to new levels. The leftwing reacted as is the Bush 43 Justice was politicized, but compared to those two jokes he was a choir boy.
