I first saw him on the Darkness tour in a small (Appx. 3000-seat) place. When I saw him at a big arena on the River tour, I inadvertently put my feet in some vomit from the drunk girl in front of me. That was my last big concert. Amazing he's still going strong after all these years.

OT.

That is a sweet website listing all of his old shows. The first time I saw him was the same Born To Run tour, in Boston in December 75. I wasn't that into his music then and a friend had tickets. He offered me the chance to go and I declined. He told me I would love him and if I didn't I didn't have to pay him for the ticket. I accepted and I don't think I've missed a tour since, except maybe for some slow stuff I'm not as fond of.

That's a good setlist. I agree with you about the new album not being that great, although I felt the same was about Magic when it first came out and now I love it. I do like Outlaw Pete.

He's not coming to Detroit this go round, which is highly unusual. I'm not going to miss him, so I have tickets for next month's show in Toronto.

Sounds like Bruce is doing a lot of old stuff again. Only saw him once many years ago in Vermont in 1977 during the Darkness tour. Him and Van are the best.

Saw Bruuuuce last night in Toronto. He was as good and the band was as tight as I've ever seen.

Here's the setlist:

I don't think I've ever seen him play Racing in the Street. Bittan had a long solo in it that was simply mesmerizing.

For the first time ever I left a Bruce show early and missed the last three songs. We had a 3 hour and 40 minute drive home and because of where we parked we were worried about getting stuck for an extra hour. Despite that I left feeling incredibly fulfilled. Bruce is smart enough to know that his new album is nothing special so he didn't load up the show with new songs. It was a memorable evening.
