I love a single candle. I was not aware people lighted bunches of them. I had no idea there were candle nuts out there. A single candle is enough to keep you from tripping over the furniture, and that's all I really want it for. I'm not trying to replace my electric lights with candle power. And if it's romance you're after, a single candle is definitely adequate. IMO, of course.

But if people were lighting scads of candles for Earth Day, and thinking they were saving energy, they weren't- all the people I know were lighting one. We are obviously very conservative people. What can I say?

Over and out.
