Btw, thought I might mention a conversation I had the other day with a guy who owns a few small oil wells.

The subject came up about "stripper wells" and how the Texas Railroad Commission (which governs oil in Texas) forces owners of non-profitable wells to cap them permanently. Now, depending upon the spot price of oil, these wells might become profitable at some point in the future.

He stated that up to 2 million barrels a day of capacity has been permanently capped due to these regulations.

These are the kinds of policies that need to be seriously reviewed and changed.

I agree with you. We're simply in a moment in time in a constantly evolving series of oscillations. If we look hard enough we'll find mini cycles and big cycles.
