All the checks and balances are gone. The Supreme Court almost never overturns a law as unconstitutional, the Fed Govt Power is clearly UNLIMITED. The Congress has never ever removed a President, even when they clearly violated the Constitution. What we have today is pretty clost to a King or Dictator, under the guise of a Constitution. those that sweat to protect and defend the Constitution defer to OTHERS to TELL THEM what it means. Of course the interpretation they get back is a twisted answer where black is red and yellow is green, and they accept that. Due to those who are not originalist interpreters, THERE IS NOW NO CONSTITUTION. The Commerce Clause allows the Feds to legislate all kinds of private individual choices and matters, there are so many loopoles to searches and seizures, asset forfeitures, smoking, drinking, where you practice religion, who can say what whithou tax penalties, and such limits on the 2nd Amendment that this Constitution is DEAD.
