I linked to that post to state the reasons why I don't think we're facing another Great Depression. Its not likely we'll go into another Great Depression but its very likely we have been in a run of the mill depression for the past few months. The fall off in production and sales last Fall is typical of a depression-like move in the economy. Given the stimulus and some of the other moves getting done by the feds, I think we may be moving back from a depression into a recession. Time will tell.
