If Miami drivers are considered polite, this is perhaps a commentary on the drivers in Curitiba...(?)

Drivers in Colorado in large business parking lots routinely will stop and wait for you if you are standing on the curb, anticipating that you may want to cross.

After coming from Miami, this behavior totally shocked me.
