My TSH from last year was 1.39.

Not to bad a TSH. But better at 1. Tell him you have established a baseline 5AM temp in the 96 range and see what his reaction is.

Took temperature orally this a.m. and it was 96.5F. . A couple more readings like that and I will call my doc. My TSH from last year was 1.39.

I think I am going to start measuring my morning temperature as well. BTW, does anybody have a recommentation for an "All you ever wanted to konw about Thyroid but were afraid to ask" book? I looked at Amazon, and here are too many to choose from. I found one that seems pro Armour supplementation:

Dr. Hoffman recommended recently a book on thyroid by Mary J. Shomon, but she seems to have written a bunch of books on the subject.
