Good argument for legalizing a good portion of the drug trade, take out the criminal profits and incentive to violence and make a bunch of tax revenue too, all without really changing the amount of drugs consumed in the country.

It all makes far too much sense for any politician to get away with advocating it outright. Maybe if enough Mexicans are killed by their gangs and civil order collapses on the border, the US may start to get the message.

We basically offer a complete package to any aspiring drug dealer - motive, means and opportunity on a platter, or put more directly, markets, cash and weapons.
