Beeswax is very cool stuff. It's a rather long-chain saturated ester. It makes the best candles, and is a reliable ingredient in the better pistol-speed bullet lubes. Since I cast my own, finding cool new recipes for bullet lubes (until, one day, i have one that actually WORKS) is part of the fun.
You can always tell who's shooting beeswax lubes. Ah, that smell. Beeswax and burnt Cordite. Yum.
