The Ca supplement is because basically I'm leeching Ca now. My bone density is osteoporosis level for a 52 year old male. I'm really experimenting here to see if I can increase my BD without drugs (fosamax etc). Bone density has improved the last three years but that was on the drug except for the last 6 months.

You need to get your blood level over 60 on D-3 Thanks I need to read up on that aspect.. Wasn't even thinking about the other benefits as I was preoccupied with the osteo. I see I have much to learn.. The complication for me is that I am a kidney stone producer of Olympic proportions :O) I prefer kidney stones though to broken bones.. I see the point though.. I need to find out how much Ca is too much.. ie wasted.. and just fodder for the kidney stone factory :O)

I'll look into the scan.. I already have nice KUB Xrays and a CT of my kidneys on my computer :O)
