What needs to be done is to remove iran's nuclear capability and their potential completely and by any and all means possible... without iran's capability, n. korea would have nothing since most all of their work is iranean... that is, unless you're okay with having some crazed messianic apocalyptic cult making repeated threats to destroy the United States and do nothing until they finally have their nuclear weapons and delivery systems, do you really believe they're just kidding? They need to be taken deadly seriously and make it impossible for them to achieve their goal... iran claims their uranium warehouse and research is only for generating nuclear power for peaceful means, this can very easily be proven to be a lie... uranium 235 is stable and is used for nuclear power such as france now has... uranium 238 is unstable and is used for nuclear weapons... iran is doing research and is storing uranium 238... so, what do you suppose they're going to do with that?
