Hardly - those stuffed bears have caused numerous child choking deaths and the stuffing is both harmful and the hair is made from dog. I've not been accosted by airborne criminals, I could see surface to surface missiles being better.

I think you'll find that surface to air missiles have to travel several city blocks before they actually arm and lock on, so you'd need one helluva neighborhood watch system to make that work. Not to mention that hitting the robber in your yard might flatten your whole house.
