I don't let the father off the hook. But I do suggest to you that SOME fathers aren't prepared to murder their own kids by garroting them, or drowning them, or axing them to death. Now obviously, there may be no way to prevent dads from blowing their kids away, but certainly even you might admit guns make it easier- isn't that why we like them? Because they are such handy dandy little tools? Of course if you think it's just as easy to kill someone other ways, feel free to argue that- I'm just not sure why you'd care about defending guns, if you believed that.
