>>>Oh, really? I'm going to have to stop tipping my paper carrier. He must have walked off with the other 3 1/2 pages. It's only half a page long, but generally positive.<<<

You misunderstood me. I was speaking of the online version, not the paper one. At their website, the printed article is indeed, 4 pages.

>>>Yes, the interview was done before the earnings were released. He got a gift with the downgrade in semi-equips and general market weakness on Friday giving him a chance to cover at 25.<<<

You know what I was thinking? Recall that Friday morning CYMI surged at the open to 30.25 (+4). I find it plausible that Fleckenstein was among the shorts covering that morning, fully expecting the stock to surge on the fantastic earnings and CC. Then after 10am when UBS downgraded the semi sector, CYMI got pulled down with the rest. It warms my heart to picture the guy tearing at his hair in frustration!

>>>I thought the article said that he was up 25% since '95. Just trying to be acccurate.<<<

You may be right. I've heard all kinds of numbers...somebody on the related thread mentioned that he was down about that much for the year. Who knows? Do you mean he was up 25% since 1995 as a WHOLE? Because it that isn't "average return per annum", then the guy is hardly impressive!
