The last time Intel tried to raise prices on an existing product was flash, and that ended up a disaster. Market share tumbled.

Intel keeps up profitability the old-fashioned way: by releasing new products.

So you are suggesting government introduce 'new products' to increase their revenue?

Listen it's really easy for you to look down on government employees. But the ones I know work their asses off, really care, and are paid a lot less than their private counterparts with the same skills. And yes they are creative on trying to do more with less.

Just keep taking pot shots, it's what you're good at.
