"and to kill myself humanly if my life is over" I was looking at the wiki entry on gun violence and in the suicide category there is fast growth among those who are 75 years or older. It's very cruel to force people to resort to that. On the other hand what would they do absent the gun? It takes astonishing quantities of many common meds to be reasonably sure of fatality.

Yes - true - for example I would like to see stem cell research occur - yet I agreed with the last admin that tax dollars should not be used (although they used religious reasons) as those companies have plenty of profit to invest themselves and they really aren't the ones lobbying for money - they've been spending billions on other forms of stem cells and making strides as the fetal tissue ones are so unstable anyway. In light of the trillions being spent it's sort of a non-issue now. Now if they'd just hurry up and cure diabetes I know a few folks that would run to get in line.
