I would compromise to get an improvement. I have said many times, for example, that I support trying to get universal coverage and eliminating blackballing. I just have the good sense to know what works and what doesn't. If you had done a little homework, you could be more constructive. Instead, you want socialized medicine and nothing else will do. The private insurers are what keeps the system working. If you remove them, you kill the quality of health care. Part D is proof of this otherwise intuitive fact.
