Yeah, but they also missed the whole way down. I doubt Meredith Whitney is too bent out of shape missing C from $1 to $2.75. However, she seems to be coming out of her shell. She seemed to indicate that GS is in a good position, having pointed out that 70% of the competition is gone.

MW is getting a little more constructive. A few key remarks - banks won't lose money, time to layoff the shorts, capital ratios are improving.
