The problem is the IMF will be empowered to create this phony money. The IMF doesn't have to purchase the contents of the basket. They can create it out of thin air like a Global Central Bank. That is very dangerous IMO. That is a shot accross the bow of all sovereign nations. The IMF is not accountable to anybody. They are not elected. They are not even selected by an elected official.
