That statement makes no sense on at least three counts.

1) American demography is diverse so racism is inapplicable.
2) Refusing to subject your self by bowing to a King is not a declaration of superiority to the King.
3) There are lots of reasons superiority could be a valid claim for one human being or group in comparison to another. Superior military power, superior infrastructure development, superior education system, superior economic development, superior health, superior justice system, superior principles of life, wiser, saner, etc. That's why we have tests and measures. However, Brumar made no such specific claims in that statement.

An American President shouldn't be bowing his knee to any monarch and there's no racism involved in saying that.

Sheesh.

Other countries should demand the same of their leaders.
