Chip why do you like Apple Computer as a long investment? Just found that they lost more market share.

Beyond the top tier, the bleeding was more pronounced. Money-losing AST Research Inc., a unit of South Korea's Samsung Electronics, continued a downward spiral as its shipments plunged 64% from a year earlier. And Apple Computer Inc.'s market share continued to shrivel, falling to just 3.3% from 5.5% last year on a 30% drop in shipments. At this rate of descent, many analysts question whether the money-losing computer pioneer can remain a viable business.
