My advice, which is free and probably not worth much,
is to take your time buying into this market. The
current turmoil in the market is not about earnings
forecasts and valuations. Many are instead genuinely
concerned about asset valuations and the impact of
potential deflation. If HK drop continues Japan really
hurting. Lower prices potentially affect all assets or
so the logical train goes.

BWDIK. No reason to respond. I am also long AMAT for
many years but prudence may be a virtue here. I will
only add after AMAT gives outstanding outlook and
the Fed does nothing Nov. 12.

Overseas action tonight is not pretty but the
day is just getting started there.

Good luck all.

I've had a good share of adventure, climbed Kilimanjaro, face climbed in Pisgah, and rappelled there too... am licensed scuba and love whitewater rafting... but will sit out this market for a while and will see, but will let my option positions ride... good luck
