So what do you conclude from this?

Is it proof in your mind that Intel was coercing the suppliers to not offer AMD products and when the suit was filed it freed the suppliers from Intel's grip? It would strengthen this view if one single supplier stepped forward to corroborate this assertion. None have.

It is also possible that it took time for the suppliers to design, validate, qualify and introduce AMD products once enough time had passed to satisfy them that Opteron was for real.

Re: Opteron was introduced in 2003. And it was a painful launch.

The chips were ready and fine, but Intel extortion limited the availability of motherboards, particularly their sabotage of solectron as a supplier (which impacted some of my work, and as you can tell, I'm still pissed off about it).
