"All that is needed for BS to win, is for good men to stand by and do nothing."

I agree. But it can be frustrating as hell to attempt a back and forth with someone who either refuses to, or is incapable of, staying on track with the points you are trying to present. :)

You might acknowledge that the other point of view has just as much facts and data to support their views as you are coming up with. So it's not that the GW alarmists are stupid and that you are smart. It's all about how the data is being interpreted.

So really, what I see is that you guys are failing to see the other side and the valid arguments they are making. I've stated that I see both sides of the picture and both have valid arguments. I believe the following:

* the earth has seen much higher CO2 levels and can self-correct for CO2 level spikes
* sunspots are a factor in global cooling and warming
* CO2 levels are strongly correlated with temperature rises, but causality (chicken or egg) has not been proven
* man can cause changes in atmospheric gas content and has already done so, which also means man can and has caused changes in our climate

So the only question that is relevant to me is is our impact so great as to cause catastrophic impact to human finances or our ability to survive on this planet? That is the question that our science will answer very soon, when we can get those darn satellites launched to track CO2 emissions and sinks.
