This is the fake part of your post: <politicians and voters won't do what is right: they won't take the bitter medicine that offers a long-term cure.>

The decisions Obama has taken on banking have nothing to do with what the voters are prepared to swallow. Obama's decisions are about what the extraordinarily wealthy, self-important people in the world of finance will swallow -- and what they won't swallow is accepting any personal or financial responsibility for the economic ruin they have brought upon us all -- at least not so long as Obama is prepared to rob us to protect them -- and he is protecting their jobs, their wealth and he is protecting many of them from going to jail.

The issue is what Obama can get away with without the voters having a clue about the way in which they have been sold out by Obama. So long as the voters remain confused and uncertain -- and so long as the "feel good" moment lasts and so long as they are willing to have blind faith in Obama -- so long as that lasts there will be no effective opposition to the biggest robbery in the history of mankind.

Don't try to pass this off as the fault of weak kneed voters who are unwilling to make sacrifices -- it is just a bunch of self-serving political baloney.
