jp--The cited report from Zacks was last updated 10/21/97. This was, as you know, at the height of the analyst's panic--it showed estmates of $0.21 for three straight quarters--to include 1Q98. I don't believe that Zacks analyzes stocks at all--they only try to report what the analysts are churning out (which may be a better guide to market movements than the realities of the situation). It may be a few days before even an honest analyst (oxymoron?) can swallow his pride enough to upwardly revise his predictions. The captive analysts HAVE to wait until the FIRM's position has been adjusted. So Zacks may not receive any revisions from them for quite a few days. Zacks does most of their updates on Monday or Tuesday AND MAY NOT CHANGE A THING FOR A WEEK!!!! So stay loose. JWTITT
