If that's the study I think it is, it's been pretty much debunked because the four groups were not sufficiently dissimilar.

"The researchers, old-school low-fatters one and all, constructed the study in such a way as to ensure the outcome they wanted, which was that all that really counted was the total caloric intake. They did this by making sure that the diet with the lowest carb content - over 150 g per day - couldn’t possibly be called a low-carb diet by anyone who really understands what a low-carb diet is. But the authors did call it a low-carb diet and the media perpetuated the myth."

There wasn't a true "low carb" diet in the mix. They faked it to try to keep "low fat" viable for the "Low Fat" manufacturers.
