You still do not get my point. Is there a law that a company has to charge the same price for everyone ? There used to be "Fair Trade Laws", which allowed manufactureres to contol retail prices. They were abolished 25 years ago. The airlines are notorious for having different fare schedules. The guy next to you on an airline , may have paid one-thirld or 3 times your price. That was blatantly illegal when the airline industry was regulated. But not so today ! Is microprocessor manufacturing a regulated industry ? Big companies may have clauses in their purchase orders, which require that they will get the most "favorable pricing", and if the price is dropped to others within a certain time duration, the company is entitled to a refund. So clearly there is no law that the pricing structure has to be uniform.
