The county DA says Iran is the greatest threat to world peace, and then says no direct links of money transfers to Iran for WMDs have been found "but they must be there". I presume the DA has a hard case here, and not just a last hurrah before retiring at the end of the year. I know that if I were a Chinese arms dealer I would funnel all my transactions through NY banks. If this 37-yr old Wei can dupe the big boyz, he's more than qualified to lead the Fed. We need this guy. Oh well, you gotta hand it to Mortimer Zuckerman and the staff of the Daily News for breaking this story before anyone else (even 6 hours later). wg PS - what, no Federal charges ? Strange.
