Oec, Let me repeat what the blogger said--- ""This is untrue. A minority of states did "make it hard" for someone who "looks like Obama" to vote until "not long ago," but most did not, and the federal government certainly did not. There has never been a time when it was hard for people who look like Obama to vote here in Minnesota, for example." So you tell me that the citation that Sully posted doesn't say that it took at least 10 years for Minnesota to amend their constitution to all blacks to vote! Matter of fact OEC, when states were ask to ratify the US Constitution to force states to let Blacks have the right to vote, it took 28 states to ratify the amendment..........Minnesota dragged their feet and were one of the last of the 28 states to approve this amendment. Plus, the blogger clearly states that PEOPLE who look like Obama never had a problem voting in Minnesota...Hell! White woman couldn't vote in Minnesota..so are you telling me that Blacks were allowed to vote in Minnesota! I feel your pain.......denial isn't a river in Africa!
