In many ways, Bob Dornan was his own worse enemy. Wiki cites only a few of the outrageous things he said and did. There were tons more. If he could have controlled his mouth and temper a little better, he'd probably still have that seat. I knew his wife Sallie, a lovely person, who took all kinds of abuse from him, including being dragged around the house by her hair. She left him several times but is still with him. His sons are very much like him.
