The Bush administration was very timid on the antitrust front for the duration of his presidency.

Prudent is the word, not timid.

FPG, without diving too far into politics, I'll just say this. I'm sure you can look forward to "Change you can believe in." And if that means supporting failed institutions with corporate welfare, have at it.

And after The One gives AMD everything that GM got and more, maybe he'll look into splitting M$ into Micro and Soft. Be careful what you ask for, though. I'm not sure the end result will be much better than the status quo.
