Back then someone like Cramer would not be allowed to do what he does by the government, if not the networks. It is unseemly for this buffoon to get innocents involved in the market in this way--its like the idiots touting gold or market timing schemes. I don't watch Cramer's show but I do subscribe to his website. Its been an invaluable source to me in terms of understanding the markets. I am not sure why you feel the need to condemn him for providing that service.
